Meet the Artistic Directors
Zoe Keddie & Tori Kay
Together, Zoe and Tori formed Water Horse Productions - a new Scottish theatre company where laughter and honesty come together to create stories that stick with you long after the curtain falls.
We are writers and performers creating bold, character-led pieces that blend dark comedy with honest storytelling. Everything we take to the stage is original, written collaboratively, and rooted in real conversations and experiences that matter.

We’re heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with two original shows, planning a scratch night in Bristol this October, Tori is putting pen to paper on her own storytelling work, and Zoe is writing her first stand-up show.
There’s a lot going on - in the best possible way.
As a self-producing new company, Water Horse Productions is actively building partnerships, collaborations, and support to help bring our work to wider audiences.

Just Blokes
A dark comedy exploring modern male relationships, vulnerability, and the unspoken pressures behind humour and silence. Built on strong dialogue and uncomfortable honesty, it challenges what masculinity looks like today.

It's a Mute Point
A fast-paced, darkly comedic new piece set in a workplace where chaos is the only constant. With bold physicality and sharp writing, it follows Clara and Marie through a day where everything that can go wrong absolutely does.
